Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. She was raised by her mother within the USA. She was subjected to racial remarks and being made to feel unwelcome. If she attended school contests and received the highest praise for her singing at the age of 9 she began to grow more confident. The experience not only boosted confidence in herself, but it also changed her career ambition. The 22-year-old earned a degree from Julliard School in New York. When she was 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both major breakthroughs. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot She played The Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. Following that she was cast in the role of Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. She is also a known singer and has released an extended play. In addition, she has been a vocal advocate for LGBT issues.
